Samwise Gamgee is one of four Hobbit representative in the Fellowship of the Ring. Sam is the Hobbit who accompanies Frodo and the creature he dispises, Gollum to Mordor where the ring must be destroyed. Whilst on their way to Mordor Sam carries all the load as Frodo says the Ring is to heavy.
